The Mid Devon CC Youth Season Opener marked the first road racing event of the year at Torbay velopark. This event aimed to prepare young riders for the upcoming 2024 seasons, and it certainly lived up to expectations. Notably, Edward Fraile-Whysall showcased exceptional talent by winning all three stages in the under 16’s Boy category. Additionally, Eva Fox, Matt Holmes, and Lauren Fox, all representing Mid Devon CC, delivered impressive performances that added to the event’s highlights.
We would like to thank all the other South West clubs that came to this event as it was great to have 40 riders racing over so many stages in this new format for the club.
