Mid Devon to Junior Tour of Wales
This weekend sees the Mid Devon Race Team compete in the Junior Tour of Wales – if you’ve been following our results you’ll have seen that we’ve medalled in the National XC mountain bike series and the Time Trial champs and gained lots of valuable experience along the way.
Now it’s the Junior boys road team’s opportunity to step up and compete in their biggest race to date – four challenging stages against the best young riders in the country, with the queen stage finishing on the Tumble mountain. In a challenging year the boys have progressed from regional competition to the National platform – winning along the way with three riders gaining their 2nd category status. This has enabled us to qualify a team of four riders Reuben Heal, Harry Jukes, Calum Start and James Pearcy to this event.
We’ll be posting daily reports so check back in for updates.
The Mid Devon Race Team is supported by the Dartmoor Classic Cycle Sportive providing young riders with the platform to be their best in their chosen cycling discipline
